Pilots win series in Kenai

The Peninsula Oilers bats were hot, but the Anchorage Glacier Pilots defense was hotter. The Oilers had 15 hits and three walks, but left 11 men on base. The Pilots had nine hits and seven walls, leaving nine on base, but scored eight. For the Pilots, Blake Jackson went 1 for 5, scoring twice with one RBI. Troy Harding went 2 for 5, scoring twice. Andrew Lamb went 3 for 5 with a triple. Not a single Pilot was struck out by the Oilers’ pitching staff. For the Oilers offense, Michael Elko went 4 for 4 with one RBI and 2 runs scored. The Pilots’ win the series 3-2.
