Week Seven Players of the Week

For the Anchorage Bucs:

Cameron Crain is a 6’3” pitcher from Lee’s Summit, Mo. attending the University of Central Florida. He started in one game, pitching four innings. Crain struck out seven and allowed one hit in 12 batters faced, but he did not allow a run.

Lex Boedicker is a 6’1” outfielder from Lima, Ohio, attending the University of Central Florida. He is batting 0.391 in seven games, going 9 for 23. Boedicker scored seven times with two doubles, one triple, six RBIs, four walks, and two strikeouts.

For the Peninsula Oilers:

Arnad Mulamekic is a 6'6'' pitcher from Rego Park, NY, attending Siena College. He started in one game, pitching five innings. Mulamekic struck out four, walked two, and allowed no runs on two hits in 19 batters faced. 

Owen McElfatrick is a 6’ outfielder from Tampa, Fla. attending Northwestern University. He is batting 0.304 in six games, going 7 for 23. McElfatrick scored four twice with one RBI, one stolen base, two walks, and zero strikeouts.

For the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks:

Nathan Riddle is a 6’ pitcher from Cincinnati, Ohio, attending the University of Cincinnati-Clermont. He started in one game, pitching four and two-thirds innings. Riddle struck out three, walked one, and allowed four hits in 21 batters faced, three runs were scored but none earned.

Michael Kelly is a 5’11” outfielder from Schwenksville, Penn. attending East Stroudsburg University. He is batting 0.348 in six games, going 8 for 23. Kelly scored five times with two RBIs, five stolen bases, three walks, and four strikeouts.

For the Anchorage Glacier Pilots:

Tai Atkins is a 5’10” pitcher from Kohala, Hawai’i, attending the University of Hawai’i. He pitched in two games of relief, going 11 innings. Atkins struck out nine, walked one, and allowed six hits in 42 batters faced, two runs were scored but none earned.

Elijah Rodriguez is a 5’9” outfielder from Waco, Texas, attending Mclennan CC. He is batting 0.263 in six games, going 5 for 19. Rodriguez scored three times with three doubles, five RBIs, two stolen bases, five walks, and six strikeouts.

For the Mat Su Miners:

Drew Christo is a 6’4” pitcher from Omaha, Neb. attending the University of Nebraska. He started in one game, pitching seven innings. Christo struck out ten and allowed no runs on four hits in 26 batters faced.

Alex Vegara is a 6’ outfielder from Colleyville, Texas, attending Lipscomb University. He is batting 0.300 in six games, going 6 for 20. Vegara scored four times with two doubles, two home runs, six RBIs, one stolen base, three walks, and four strikeouts.
