Team Pennsylvania Drops Close Contest Against Boston Jr. Bruins

Date:  Source: Team Pennsylvania

Team Pennsylvania played another close game on Thursday, this time against the Boston Jr. Bruins. The Jr. Bruins scored the first two goals of the game; one in each of the first two periods. In the third period, Liam Clark scored at the 6:37 mark with assists from Ryan Burkhiser and Cooper Wang to make the game close with plenty of time remaining.

Unfortunately, the equalizer never quite came and Boston scored an empty netter to salt the game away 3-1. After the game, Coach Edwards spoke highly of his team's effort once again and looked forward to the one remaining game to finally have the results match up with the process. "Another game that went right down to the wire between two very even and similar teams. We had our chances again to tie with the goalie out and just couldn't capitalize. We have one more chance to taste some success tomorrow and are focused on that!"

Team Pennsylvania's final game will be Friday (July 8th) vs the Saskatchewan Jr. Pats at 7:10pm MT/9:10pm ET. Good luck to the boys in their last game and leave it all on the ice!
