Date:  Source: Team Pennsylvania

Team Pennsylvania and the BC Junior Canucks played a wildly entertaining game on Tuesday that ended in a shootout. Despite trailing 1-0 after one period and 3-1 after two, Team PA scored two goals late in the third to force overtime and eventually the shootout. It was a great effort to earn their first point of the tournament but ultimately, the Junior Canucks got the win thanks to the shootout. 4-3.

Gabriel Smart scored midway through the second period to level the score at 1-1. In the third period, with Team PA trailing 3-1 Alexander Levin and Brayden Pearsall scored to tie the game in epic fashion with the latter of the two goals coming with just over one minute remaining in regulation.

"I'm proud of the effort the boys showed today," said coach Edwards following the game. "Nobody gave up when we were down, they kept believing and everyone competed hard. We need to keep that momentum going regardless of the outcome of the shootout. It should be an exciting game with the home crowd rocking!"

The boys won't have to wait for the next matchup as a matchup with Team Brick Alberta looms this evening at 5:30pm MT/7:30pm ET.
