Minot, N.D. -- The Sasquatch were defeated as the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs dominated Friday night's game with a final score of 11-2.

Through the first two innings Cameron Bagshaw did not allow a hit, and struck out three batters. It wasn't until the bottom of the third inning when the Sabre Dogs got on base, though no runs were scored. Bagshaw finished the night pitching in 5 innings with five strikeouts with four hits given up and one batter walked.

Hayden Driggs, in just his second appearance came up big for the Sasquatch as he hit a two-run homer to take the lead 2-0.

The Sabre Dogs responded quickly as a wild pitch from Bagshaw bounced off of the catcher and found its way in the Sasquatch dugout. With the runner on second advancing to third, and the ball in the dugout, time was called and the runner was ushered in for a run cutting the deficit in half, 2-1. Cole Hannigan would later tie the game in the bottom of the fourth.

Allen Grier of the Sabre dogs would later help tack on four runs after a double and an error bringing in 3 base runners and himself to extend the lead to 7-2 in the bottom of the sixth. 4 more runs would be added on in the bottom of the seventh inning.

The Sasquatch will fall to 6-2 on the season, as they are one game behind first place in the Clark Division. The two teams will face-off again at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow on Corbett Field
