May 15, 2019: The Hannibal Hoots would like to welcome several new faces for the 2019 season. Joining the Hoots in the front office this season will be Brett Peters (of New London, MO), Adam Wienhoff (of Quincy, IL), and Chelsea Grady (of Redkey, IN). The Hoots will also welcome back Brendan Saak (of Quincy). Brendan played for the inaugural Hoots team in 2018.

Saak will serve in an administrative role with the team in 2019. He will assist in stadium and game day operations. Brendan is currently working as a graduate assistant at Quincy University in the Sports Information Department while pursuing an MBA.

Peters joins the staff this summer after completing his undergraduate degree in May from Northwest Missouri State University in Mass Media. Brett will assist in marketing and promotions in the coming season.

Wienhoff is very familiar with the Hoots organization. His younger brother Hunter pitched for the Hannibal Hoots in 2018. Adam is in the process of completing his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University. He will be involved in a number of capacities in the coming summer, as he works to complete his summer internship.

Grady comes to Hannibal from Ball State University. Chelsea is working to complete her Masters in Sports Administration during her summer internship.

Much more about these new additions in the days to come. Be sure to check back in, as we provide a closer look at the ways in which each of the newest members of the Hoots staff plan to leave their thumbprint on the organization this summer.
