Hannibal, MO: The Hannibal Hoots will not play at Clemens Field to start the 2019 season. With the recent change in river levels over the previous 48 hours, we have evacuated the stadium and offices for the time being. 

Unfortunately the water on site will make Clemens Field unplayable for the foreseeable future. Water level of approximately 24’ make the grandstands, ticket booth, concession stand, team store, bathrooms, suites, dugouts and walk ways unusable. Until water levels drop below 24’ the Hoots will be forced to play offsite. Following a drop in the current levels, clean up efforts and restoration would require approximately one week. 

The team will open the season at QU Stadium in Quincy, IL. The Quincy Gems and Quincy University have graciously made available the stadium for the month of June. The Hoots will play all scheduled home games at QU Stadium starting Saturday, June 1st. The team is planning to transition back to Clemens Field by Friday, June 28th. 

With both teams scheduled to play at home on the following dates:

May 31st
June 15th
June 16th
June 20th

The following changes have been made to the schedule:

May 31st game against the Springfield Sliders has been moved to Tuesday, June 12th, as part of a double header. 
June 15th/June 16th games with Terre Haute will be played as a double header on Monday, June 17th. 
June 20th game against the Cape Girardeau Catfish has been moved to Tuesday, July 9th, as a part of a double header. 

The team has began reaching out to season ticket holders and corporate partners. All season tickets, ticket packages, and individual game tickets will be honored at QU Stadium during the relocation. The team is working to reschedule their Hoot & Holler nights scheduled for June 1st and June 14th. More details will follow once those plans have been finalized. 

All game start times will remain the same as scheduled, with the exception to the previously mentioned dates. All scheduled double headers will start at 5:30 pm. 

The team is working on a short term solution for team merchandise and ticket sales. Once a location has been established all day to day operations will be conducted from said location until the team offices are made available at Clemens Field.
