Pacific Association Cancels 2020 Regular Season

SAN FRANCISCO — Each of the five teams of the Pacific Association of Professional Baseball Clubs are holding tryouts in May, ahead of the start of the 2019 season on May 31.
The defending champion San Rafael Pacifics will be the first to hold tryouts, with sign-ups available on their website. Tryouts for the Pacifics take place on Saturday, May 4 at Albert Park in San Rafael (155 Andersen Drive) and will take place from 1:00 p.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. The cost is $100 if registering in advance or $125 the day of tryouts, with day-of registration beginning at 11:30 a.m.
The Sonoma Stompers and Vallejo Admirals will hold separate tryouts on May 18.
Tryouts for the Stompers will take place at Field of Dreams in Sonoma (151 1st Street West) beginning at 10:00 a.m. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with a $125 fee the day of or $100 when pre-registering online.
The Vallejo Admirals will host their trout at Wilson Park in Vallejo (1007 Solano Avenue) begin check-in for their tryouts at 8:00 am on the 18th with warmups at 9:00 a.m. and the tryout itself beginning at 9:30 a.m. The cost to try out is $90 before April 20, $100 until May 17 or $125 at the gate the day of with registration available online.
The Pacific Association’s newest team, the Salina Stockade, will hold tryouts shortly before the season begins, on May 28 in Monterey at Sollecito Park. The cost is $100 with registration available on their website.
A tryout for the Napa Silverados is TBD and this release will be updated when a date and time has been determined.
All players trying out for a Pacific Association team are responsible for their own transpiration (parking will be available on site) and bringing their own baseball equipment. More information on specific team sessions can be found at the specific teams’ websites.
