GM’s Beginning of the Month Report, May 1st 2019; Sunrise is at 5:53am and subset is at 10:01 pm for a total of 16 hours and 8 minutes of daylight. Weather has been great with sunshine and temperatures in the high 50’s and low 60’s. The “Grand Slam Raffle” fundraiser was a big success again. It’s a great time seeing all these Miner fans come together at this fundraiser and enjoy dinner with friends.  The Air Force Leadership class will be at the ballpark May 4 to help cleanup. (photo is 2018 Air Force Leadership Class) They do such a great job and really take a lot off our plates getting ready for the season. Gear and equipment continue to roll in as well as new merchandise.  We lost 8 players in 6 weeks and I’m working the phones looking for replacements. We’re almost there and at a full roster. Denise is booking the flights for the players right now and working on host families. Players start arriving June 1st and 2nd. First game is June 5. That’s it for now. Next report is June 1st.
