GM’s Beginning of the Month Report April 1st 2021; Sunrise is at 7:24am and sunset is at 8:44pm for a total of 13 hours and 19 minutes of daylight. Temperatures have been in the high 20’ s and low 30’s during the past week, which is still on the cool side and lots of snow on the ground. Things start to melt by now but not this year. We are hoping to start renovations on the clubhouse soon so they are done by June 1st but the weather is not cooperating. The General Managers of the teams had a conference call last Friday with Dr. Wade Erickson who operates the COVID -19 testing centers and State Commissioner of Health and Social Services Adam Crum. We are hoping the Municipality of Anchorage Health Department eases some of their restrictions and protocols before May 1st. More people are being vaccinated daily which should help. There are three teams in the Municipality so keep your fingers crossed. Next conference call will be around the 19th of April. The Miners Grand Slam Raffle will be held at Raven Hall on the fairgrounds property April 24th. That’s it for now. Pete and Denise
