Date:  Source: California Collegiate Summer League (CCSL)

The California Collegiate Summer League (CCSL) has announced it's official launch and Inaugural 2013 season. League President Tony Riviera believes that the CCSL is truly positioned to be "the premiere college summer league in the United States." Riviera stated, "Everything always starts with the right people and a solid vision that can be executed at all levels." We know where we want to go with this and just as important, how we will get there as a league. The CCSL has already added several Advisory Board Members that are all currently Major League Scouts and MLB Team Executives and Management.

This League is designed to make things seamless for MLB team Scouts and Player personnel to identify, draft, and sign our players.

2013 will bring 6 teams, a league championship playoff, and the annual All Star Game. The CCSL already has received commitments from several teams as well as National Sponsors. We will continue the selection process over the next several months and announce teams right once the 2012 Summer Season ends.
