GM’s beginning of the month report, March 1st 2018; Sunrise is at 8:02am and sunset is at 6:24pm for a total of 10 hours and 20 minutes of daylight. February has been a snowy month for us with temperatures in teens and 20’s. We’re just about finished enclosing the batting cage; working on the lights and outlets. The heat should be done by next week. We are very honored to be a recipient of a  MEA Charitable Foundation Grant to help us continue work on the Batting Cage/Indoor Sports Facility.  THANK YOU MEA ROUNDUP PARTICIPANTS for your donations to this great organization and US!! 

We’ve lost a couple of recruits to summer school and are looking for replacements. This Saturday, March 3rd is our Nugget Booster Club’s “Cabin Fever Reliever” at the Palmer Train Depot  featuring Arkose Brewing, Bleeding Heart Brewery and Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits doors open at 6pm. Tickets are available by calling 907-745-6401. The “Green Day Gallop” is March 18th and registration is open at RunSignUp.com register for the 5K, 10K or Half Marathon.  There is also a free kid’s one mile run.  We have begun selling tickets to our annual Grand Slam raffle to held on April 28th at Raven Hall.
