The Chapman Ice Hockey Team participated in the annual Student Involvement Fair on Wednesday, September 13, 2017.  The fair showcases the various clubs and activities available on campus. Members of the Chapman Ice Hockey team provided information on the club including player dues/fees and practice and game schedules; they also answered questions about statistics and team performance expectations while displaying their home and away game jerseys to students on campus.

Chapman Ice Hockey is entering its seventh year this fall and has benefited from the growth in popularity of the sport in Southern California. This will be its first year in the West Coast Hockey Conference  (WCHC), which is one of the top conferences in the state. Home games are played at KHS Ice Arena which is a 5-minute drive from campus. The arena 's unique structure provides for great fan support and a huge home ice advantage.

The Panthers anticipate a deep roster this year with both returning and new players. They have high expectations for the season after several years of steady growth and development of the program, including a memorable 2015-16 CCHL Championship.
