Chapman competed against Cal State Bakersfield in the season opener for the 2019/20 season! Even though the panthers fell short in a final score of 5-2, it was still a hard fought battle. Cole Rubin opened up the season with a goal in the first period, assisted by Jake Grief, tying the game 1-1. Jack Matura also snapped a wrist shot to give the panthers their final goal of the night, assisted by Brent Buckland.
