The Marthas Vineyard Sharks (19-29) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 4-2 to the North Shore Navigators (24-24) on Friday.

A two-run error gave the North Shore Navigators the lead in the sixth inning.

Joey Pena put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the North Shore Navigators. He tripled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth innings.

Cole OConnor got the win for the North Shore Navigators thanks to five strikeouts. OConnor allowed two earned runs, five hits and one walk over six innings.

Jorge Castro ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
