Hart leads the Seacoast Mavericks to 9-5 win over the Marthas Vineyard Sharks

Thursday was a great day for Michael Hart, as he hit two home runs to carry the Seacoast Mavericks (32-15) to a 9-5 victory over the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (19-28) at Vineyard Baseball Park in eight innings.

 

 

Jack Owens racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He homered in the fourth inning.

 

Nathan Robinson improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Seacoast Mavericks. He allowed one run over one inning. Robinson struck out two, walked four and gave up no hits.

Thomas Curtin (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.

The Seacoast Mavericks' Barry Buchowski, Jeremiah Adams, Hart and Kyle Pangallo combined for nine hits and six RBIs.
