The North Shore Navigators take out the Bristol Blues with help from Pena, 7-4

Joey Pena had two extra base hits, helping the North Shore Navigators (26-24) to a 7-4 victory over the Bristol Blues (22-26) on Tuesday at Muzzy Field.

He doubled in the first and third innings.

The Bristol Blues had no answer for Quinn DiPasquale, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Bristol Blues managed just one hit off of DiPasquale, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six during his three innings of work.

Liam Scafariello racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Bristol Blues. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the seventh innings.

Ben Brown pitched lights out for the Bristol Blues. The North Shore Navigators managed just two hits off of Brown, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his four innings of work.

Brett Morrison got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered two hits.

Paul Versteeg (3-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked one and struck out one.
