Jabari Giving Back to Chicago
Date: Aug 26, 2016

LFG keeps their 1st place seed and great season, holding off a late Pippen Ain’t Easy surge. Luke Fabrizius was unconscious in the 1st half, and played an all around All CSL game. His incredible stat line of 20 points 13 rebounds 4 blocks and 4 steals was huge, but doesn’t give credit to how well LFG plays together and feeds off another. 4 out of 6 LFG players were in double figures, and at points were up by 20 in this game. Pippen Ain’t Easy couldn’t find an offensive rhythm and although lead scorer Elliot Englemann (21 points) got hot towards the end of the game, it was too little too late.
LFG holds off a late run and wins a game that looked closer than it ever was 74-70. Pippen Ain’t Easy has dropped 3 of the last 4 and although they are against some of the top teams in the Power Rankings, they have to get the offense together. LFG looks like the team to beat and winning both of their last games guarantees them the #1 seed, although they could still lose 1 and still obtain it.
