On August 26th, NBA superstar and Chicago native, Jabari Parker will host a free celebrity basketball game and event at Quest Multisport (2641 W Harrison St) starting at 6PM. The Chicago Stats League will provide logistical support for the “Pick Up 4 Peace”, including live stat tracking of the games on our website located at www.chicagostatsleague.com.

This event is part of Parker’s continuing efforts to give back to his community and highlight the good of people coming together; while raising awareness on the issue of gun violence in Chicago. The game comes on the heels of Parker’s appearance at an ESPN/The Undefeated sponsored Town Hall called “An Undefeated Conversation: Athletes, Responsibility and Violence”

Some of the best high school players in the city will participate in the “Pick Up 4 Peace”, before the NBA’ers get started with AAU powerhouses Chicago Select and Get Buckets facing off in the opening game. Following that, current NBA players, ex-professionals and Chicago legends will participate in a celebrity game, headlined by the Milwaukee Buck standout. Parker will lead his handpicked squad vs. a another handpicked Team Jordan squad.

Doors open at 5:30 and seats will be filled on a first come- first serve basis. No tickets are needed. We look forward to seeing you there.
