The Stoney Creek Generals have acquired new Forward Igor Gongalsky and returning Defenseman Sean Blanchard for our 2016-17 roster.

Igor Gongalsky, 29, most recently played for the EIHL with the Dundee Stars, in the ECHL with the South Carolina Stingrays and Gwinnett Gladiators and in the AHL with the Rochester Americans and the Portland Pirates.

Sean Blanchard, 37, obtained 22 points (2G, 20A) in 23 games in the regular season and 8 points (2G, 6A) in 6 games in the playoffs last season. With Sean's vast playing experience, he will continue to be a driving force behind a growing team.
