Both the Peninsula Oilers (24-21) and the Anchorage Bucs (19-21) put runners aboard on Sunday, but it was the Peninsula Oilers that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 6-4 win at Coral Seymour Memorial Park.
Trey Dawson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Peninsula Oilers. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Steven Sensley racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Anchorage Bucs. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.
Cody Wood got the win, running his season record to 3-0. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out none, walked three and surrendered 10 hits.
Zach Reid ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
