Trey Dawson went 1-2, sparking the Peninsula Oilers (29-26) to a 2-1 victory in seven innings over the Anchorage Bucs (22-25) on Tuesday at Mulcahy Stadium.

He singled in the fifth inning.

Austin Piscotty put together a nice outing. Piscotty held the Anchorage Bucs hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Brody Robinson was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Peninsula Oilers batters and allowing one run.

Cole Maltese was solid at the plate for the Anchorage Bucs. Maltese went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.

Yi-Hsin Huang got the win, running his season record to 4-0. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered four hits.

Zach Reid couldn't get it done on the bump for the Anchorage Bucs, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
