Jeffery Chapuran went 2-3, sparking the Peninsula Oilers (28-25) to a 6-5 victory over the Anchorage Bucs (21-24) on Monday at Mulcahy Stadium.

He singled in the third inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Hunter Kasuls racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Anchorage Bucs. He homered in the seventh inning.

Zack Hamilton improved to 1-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Peninsula Oilers. He allowed four runs over six innings. Hamilton struck out four, walked three and gave up four hits.

Drew Gooch (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out three.
