Geannelis allows no runs to lead the Nashua Silver Knights past the Marthas Vineyard Sharks 11-1

Mike Geannelis kept the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (17-23) off the board during his six innings of work and the Nashua Silver Knights (25-15) beat the Marthas Vineyard Sharks, 11-1.

Geannelis allowed five hits, two walks and struck out two.

Eight runs in the first three innings helped the Nashua Silver Knights blow out the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. A two-run single by Ryan Sullivan, an RBI single by Charlie McConnell, and a two-run double by Cam Cook during the first inning and an RBI double by Mickey Gasper in the second inning fueled the Nashua Silver Knights' offense early.

Harry Roberson reached base five times in the game for the Nashua Silver Knights. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first and third innings.

John Nolan (0-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out three.
