The Westcott (8-4) scored four runs in the fifth to cap a 12-5 win over the Mudville (5-9) on Monday.

The Westcott scored in the fifth on an RBI single by Jake Tillman, a two-run single by Tillman, and an RBI single by Austin Barry.

Michael Sherburne had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the third and ninth innings.

Dante Blancarte racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Mudville. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Stew Bramen recorded his second win of the year for the Westcott. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked four and surrendered five hits.

Alex Hernandez (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed five runs.

The Westcott's Sherburne, Barry, Greg Joubert and Tillman combined for nine hits and seven RBIs.
