The Anchorage Bucs (10-9) beat the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (9-10) 3-1 on Thursday at Mulcahy Stadium behind Alan Trejo, who went 2-5.
He singled in the third and fifth innings.Drew Gooch brought the heat against the Anchorage Glacier Pilots during his outing. The Anchorage Glacier Pilots managed just two hits off of the the Anchorage Bucs' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.
Despite the loss, the Anchorage Glacier Pilots' Weston Rivers dominated the Anchorage Bucs' batters, giving up three runs and striking out six.
Angel Landazuri recorded his second win of the year for the Anchorage Bucs. He allowed one run over four innings. Landazuri struck out six, walked none and gave up four hits.
Rivers was charged with his first loss of the year.
