The Carolina Vipers (10-4) and the SBA Bones (8-5) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Carolina Vipers that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-6 win at Charlotte Christian.

Nick Owens racked up two RBIs on two hits for the SBA Bones. He singled in the third and sixth innings.

Austin Wynn improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Carolina Vipers. Wynn struck out one, walked one and gave up one hit.

Jamie Honeycutt Jr. (0-1) took the loss for the SBA Bones. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
