The Stoney Creek Generals have acquired two new players and one returning player for our 2016-17 roster. Defensemen Justin DaCosta and Deron Cousens and returning forward Dylan Gilbert.

Justin DaCosta, 31, recently played for the ECHL Brampton Beast, the EIHL Coventry Blaze and high level professional hockey in Austria and France. Justin spent his early career in the OHL playing for the Mississauga Ice Dogs, Owen Sound Attack and Barrie Colts.

Deron Cousens, 29, recently played for the ECHL Bakersfield Condors, Greenville Road Warriors, Idaho Steelheads and Florida Everblades as well as the CHL Arizona Sundogs. Deron spent his early career playing in the BCHL for the Penticton Vees and the NCAA for Michigan Tech.

Dylan Gilbert, 26, after playing for the Stoney Creek Generals in the 2014-2015 season, spent last season playing for the University of Guelph with 17 points in 27 games.
