The Canadian Firefighters National Ice Hockey Club would like to take a second to send all emergency service personnel that are or have been working in the Alberta Fort McMurry Region a warm thank you and the well wishes of all your brothers at CFFHC. As the fire spreads we expect that more responders will be sent in to the area to battle the blaze.

We would like to make a special announcement to all the members of the Canadian Firefighters Ice Hockey Club that are currently working the blaze. Members Eric Peace, Mark Rominuk, Mark Rollins,  Alex Pavchek, Mel Angelsted, Jonathan Cuneo and Brad Wolsey! We wish you a safe and successful operation and please know that our hearts are with you. All CFFHC team events are on hold in the Alberta Region while the blaze is being fought, members of the team that are not fighting the blaze are conducting a food and clothing drive to aid those displaced. You can donate to this dive by emailing our main office.
