Former America's Showcase Star Signs NHL Deal

Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, Mid-American battled back to claim a 3-2 victory over Texas.
Mid-American never led in the game until netting the game winner. Mid-American fell behind 2-0 after a power play goal by Texas' Ethan McKinley at 17 seconds in the second period. Mid-American tied things up at 2-2 on a goal by Kyle Fisher at 16:58 in the second period. Mid-American scored the game winner at 15:01 in the third period on a goal by Fisher.
Mid-American was sparked by Nate Mickey, who grabbed one goal and one assist.
Jason Bauer also scored for Mid-American. Other players who recorded assists for Mid-American were Joe Line, Gavin Plotz, and Nikkita Silvchenko, who contributed one each.
Texas also got a goal from Charles OHearn as well. In addition, Texas received assists from Marshall Mueller, Carter Gallo, James Reaman, and Andrew Warhoftig, who each chipped in one.
Caden Shell recorded 24 saves for Mid-American. Mid-American incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors and had no power play opportunities. Texas' Patrick Egdorf stopped 15 shots out of the 18 that he faced. Texas ended with no penalties and went 1-for-5 on the power play.
