Midwest gutted out a close 4-3 win against Illinois.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Joe Krueger secured the win for Midwest with a goal in the third period.

Krueger had a great game for Midwest, netting two goals.

Midwest also got points from Ethan Bettis, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Ethan McHenry also scored for Midwest. More assists for Midwest came via Sam Raes, who had one and Blake Ramsey and Skyler Beller, who contributed two each.
