Two goals from Marie-Philip Poulin and one goal and one assist from Caroline Ouellette help Les Canadiennes down the Brampton Thunder 5-2.
Poulin scored the first of her two goals on the power play at 16:06 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Les Canadiennes. An interference penalty on Jocelyne Larocque had put Les Canadiennes on the power play. Ouellette picked up the assist. Poulin's next tally on the power play made the score 4-2 Les Canadiennes with 2:15 left in the third period. Ann-Sophie Bettez assisted on the tally. Ouellette scored short handed 3:14 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Les Canadiennes. Les Canadiennes was on a penalty kill with Karell Emard in the box for checking from behind.

Brampton Thunder was led by Rebecca Vint, who racked up two goals. Vint scored the first of her two goals at 16:16 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Vint's next tally made the score 3-2 Les Canadiennes with 14:15 left in the third period. Brampton Thunder played down a man on Courtney Birchard's delay of game.
