ANNOUNCING CIBA'S NEW FALL BALL LEAGUE!
Date: Jun 16, 2016

Champions International Baseball Academy is pleased to announce the opening of their newest international baseball facility in Aruba. Located in the city of Noord, the new location will expand CIBA’s international presence and provide new opportunities for baseball players. Champions International Baseball Academy (CIBA) has formed a partnership with the government of Aruba to bring baseball camps and clinics to the island to develop the sport of baseball and provide training and exposure for local and international players.
The new facility includes a professional quality turf field, training areas and a dormitory that will house up to thirty baseball players. The facility will provide international players with a top quality training program, run by former MLB coaches, players and scouts. The new location will enable CIBA to offer exchange programs for all of their players to travel and train in one of the most beautiful destinations in the southern Caribbean. Located 15 miles north of Venezuela, Aruba is home to beautiful white-sand beaches and a typical climate of 82-degrees year round.
International baseball players seeking a path to Major League Baseball can sign up for CIBA’s seven month training and exposure program. The program will include three months of training in Aruba followed by the opportunity to try-out for several MLB teams. Players who do not get signed immediately will travel to the U.S. and have the opportunity for an additional try-out in Florida with the Baltimore Orioles. After that, players can travel to Madison, Wisconsin and train for two months in CIBA’s brand new state-of-the art, 12,000 square foot indoor facility. In the U.S., players will play baseball for two months with an independent scouting team with multiple opportunities to be scouted and signed to the MLB. This comprehensive program will provide international players with the training, coaching and tools they need to be recruited to play professional baseball.
In addition to the opportunities for international players, CIBA manages travel youth baseball teams and provides baseball training programs for players in central Wisconsin. U.S. players have access to top level training and coaching along a similar path with exposure to college level recruiters and scouts. CIBA coaches build self-confidence through skill development. Each practice session is designed to enhance team and personal growth through individual and group instruction from their outstanding staff.
