2018 B-FIT HEROS CUP BOSTON

In the opening game of the International Police, Fire and Military Games Team Canada Fire took on Sanford Police and a good hard fought battle . Canada with only 9 players would lean heavy on goaltender Bryce Luker who stood strong. Canada would score early in the first when Team Alberta forward Eric Peace would score only 3 min in the the opening standsa. Peace would break the line again only 2 min later when he scored again from the hight sloot. Team Ontario defensemen Yan Verhof would join the rush a few time and get rewarded with a goal and 3 assit to add to Canada lead.
Luker would turn away all shoots sent his way with the exception of a rocket slap shoot that would defect in over the blockerhand of Luker. Team Alberta members Jonathan Cuneo and Matthew Sonntag joined Verhof on the blue line holding the back end while Ben Cuneo, Joel Chartland, Steve Marchellus and David Ramadhama help the front end. The team wll play again at 11am vs. the Maine Firefighters.
