At the conclusion of our third Rock Elite League season, we would like to give a big shout out to our champions and MVP's.  It was an exciting season from start to finish, and in the end our champs proved why they deserved to hoist the trophy!

Peewee: In the Peewee division, the Blue team coached by Toronto Rock Strength Coach, Sean Holmes and his assistant Wayne Burke prevailed over the regular season leading the Black team coached by Mike Accursi and Jason Howard.  The eventual MVP for Blue, Cam Sanderson took this game over with 6 goals and 2 assists as his team topped Black by a score of 10-8.  Congratulations to Blue on the championship and to all Peewee players on a great season!

Bantam: In the Bantam division, Brett Hickey and Steve Fryer's team was the hottest after the holidays and they proved it by beating Jamie Batley and Kevin Brownell's Red team by a score of 8-7.  Eddie Qu was a man amongst boys in the second half scoring both the tying goal and game winning goal late in the game!  His 5 goals in the championship game would end up being more than enough to earn him MVP honours.  Congratulations Blue on an incredible championship run!

Midget: In the Midget division, Tony and Ty Carvalho's White team finished the regular season in first place, and that seeding would hold true throughout the playoffs.  They were able to hold off Andrew Suitor and Alex Crepinsek's second place Black team by a score of 12-11 in the championship game!  Trevor Barrett's 4 goals and 1 assist played a huge part in White's success and lifted him to being named MVP.  Great job team White and to all our Midget players on a blast of a season!

Junior: In the Junior division, Blaine McCauley and Mike Falkiner's Red squad was able to squeak by Mike Lines and Sean Allen's Blue 9-8 in overtime in what some are already calling an all-time REL classic!  Jack Kelly would be named MVP after scoring 2G, 3A including the overtime championship game winner!  Congratulations to Red on the championship and great job by all of our Junior players on a successful season!
