The Cambridge Winter Hawks had trouble finding ways to stop the Guelph Hurricanes, which beat Winter Hawks, 6-2.

Cameron Stokes had a great game for Guelph, netting two goals. Stokes scored on the power play at 7:22 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Guelph and again while on the power play 11:09 into the first to make the score 2-0 Guelph.

The Hurricanes' offense rang up 41 shots on Cambridge's net. Guelph found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Hurricanes average 3.9 goals per game.

Guelph additionally got points from Ryan Migliaccio, who also racked up three goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Sean Power also scored for Guelph. In addition, Guelph received assists from Stefano Pezzetta, Chris Poletek, Ryan Burns, Cameron Palmer, and Tyler Burns, who each chipped in one and Kevin Fitzpatrick and Brody Milne, who contributed two each.
