RSCBL is proud to announce James Coats as a coach during the 2015 summer season.

Coats, a Baton Rouge native and former Parkview Baptist standout, participated in the 2013 RSCBL summer season while a member of the Northwestern State Demons baseball team.  Coats played in the RSCBL under Coach Rob Bordelon and the Exit Realty sponsored team that captured the league title that summer.  Coats has a productive summer, hitting .293 in 14 games for the Exit squad. After being sidelined by a lingering shoulder injury, Coats spent the 2014 season with the NSU Demons as a student assistant coach.  He has spent the 2015 spring as an assistant coach at St. Mary's Catholic School in Natchitoches; where he has helped lead the Tigers to an undefeated district mark and playoff berth.

Coach Coats will receive his Bachelors degree from NSU in May and will pursue full time a career in Education and Coaching.  He will also be coaching Team Louisiana (http://www.qualitysports.org/) this summer in addition to coaching in the RSCBL.
