PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — KOIN 6 caught Team President Ken Wilson making the announcement of the Name Your Team Contest at local school.

The final four names were Red Dogs. Pixels. Mud Hounds. Pickles.

The finalists for the name of the new baseball team that will play in Lents Park. In an event at Woodstock Elementary school, the name was revealed.

The Portland Pickles.

The team will be made up of college players looking to improve their skills in the summer months, and will begin play in summer 2016.
