Interviews will be conducted in September and we expect to have Pre-Season internships filled by the end of September.  Please no phone calls in regards to the status of your application.  We'll be contacting candidates for either a phone or in-person interview.

MAY, 2016 - AUGUST, 2016 (IN-SEASON)

Interviews will be conducted in January and we expect to have In-Season internships filled by the end of February.  Please no phone calls in regards to the status of your application.  We'll be contacting candidates for either a phone or in-person interview.

As the Pickles is a new team in a new league, Pre-Season interns will learn the overall operations needed to prepare a start-up franchise.  In-Season interns will experience the overall operation of a college summer wood-bat team during the actual season.

Here are some of the positions open to interns:

Community Relations And Promotions - Assist in community relations, including appearances and the Reading Club

Ticket Operations - Assist in all ticketing functions, including season ticket sales and group ticket sales and the general ticket start-up

Account Executives - Commissioned in-house group and corporate sales

Media Relations - Work with all media in preparing press releases and player bios

Merchandising - Assist in design, inventory, display and sales of team gear

Food and Beverage - Work in coordinating concession operations and catering for group events

Broadcasting - Do play-by-play or assist in game broadcasts, including operating the board for broadcasts

Social Media - Assist in providing material to social media professionals and generally monitoring the social media function

Event Management - Help manage the entire entertainment package prior to and during games

Customer Service and Administrative - Work in overal customer satisfaction and daily administrative functions
