PRESS RELEASE: September 28, 2015 - Portland, Oregon - The Portland Pickles will open the inaugural Great West League season on the road on June 3rd. The Pickles first game at the renovated Walker Stadium will be Friday, June 10th. The Pickles will play a 60-game schedule, with 30-games at home.
The home season kicks-off with a six-game stand, featuring 3-games with the Marysville GoldSox (June 10-12) and three games versus Sacramento (June 13-15). The first home stand follows six games on the road, with 3-games at Medford (June 3-5) and 3-games at Chico (June 6-8).
The Pickles will play each GWL team six-games at home. The home schedule features 14-weekend games. The Pickles will play two games at home over the July 4th Holiday Weekend, Sunday, July 3 and Monday, July 4 versus the Lodi Crushers.
Season tickets go on sale Saturday, October 17th (noon - 3 pm) at the Pickles Walker Stadium Office at 92nd Avenue and Holgate Boulevard and by phone (503-775-3080). At that time a 50% down payment will be required to reserve each season seat.
Each and every seat available for season purchase is close to the action, between the bases, and has a great view of the action for all 30-games. Field box seating is $330 for a season ticket ($11 per game versus $12 on a single game basis). Pavilion seating is $210 for a season ticket ($7 per game versus $8 on a single game basis). Half-Season or 15-game packages are also available. Field box seating is $165 for the Half-Season/15-Game package and Pavilion seating is $105 of the Half-Season/15-Game package.
Pickles Gear will go on sale for the first time Saturday, October 17th (noon - 3pm) at the Pickles Office at the ball park.
