Trevor Simonick registered one point to lead the Niagara Falls Canucks to a 4-1 victory over the Thorold Blackhawks.

Thorold was unable to stop Niagara Falls from sending pucks towards the net, and the Canucks eventually piled up 39 shots on goal.

Niagara Falls also got points from Frank Pucci, who also grabbed two goals and one assist and Kevin Millejours, who also had one goal and one assist. In addition, Niagara Falls received assists from Nigel Slade, who had two and Matthew Mannella and Sean Farquharson, who each chipped in one.

Joseph Murdaca recorded 23 saves for Niagara Falls. The Canucks incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Blackhawks' Ian Shorthouse stopped 35 shots out of the 39 that he faced. Thorold incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
