Sydney Sabres beat Sydney Wolf Pack, 1-0, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.

A goal 13:10 into the first period by Samuel Lammert proved to be the game winner, and powered Sydney Sabres to the victory. Luke Zvonicek assisted on the tally.
