Natasha Farrier racked up two points to lead Adelaide Adrenaline to a 3-1 victory over Brisbane Goannas.

Adelaide Adrenaline put 30 shots on net during the contest, more than the 3.0 it averages per game.

Adelaide Adrenaline also had goals scored by Candice Mitchell and Taylor Botterill, who scored one goal each. In addition, Adelaide Adrenaline received assists from Kirsty Venus, who had two and Sari Lehmann and Tess Reynolds, who contributed one each.

Brisbane Goannas put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Adelaide Adrenaline to score on any of its three power plays.

Brisbane Goannas was led by Leine Nummi, who scored the team's only goal. Nummi scored 11:10 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Adelaide Adrenaline. Kelly Costa assisted on the tally.

Shannon Giebelhaus rejected 17 shots on goal for Adelaide Adrenaline. Adelaide Adrenaline incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Keesha Atkins recorded 27 saves for Brisbane Goannas. Brisbane Goannas incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
