HAVOC TAKE TWO FROM FREE AGENT CAMP

HUNTSVILLE, AL – Huntsville Havoc head coach Glenn Detulleo announced today that team has traded the rights to forward Josh Harris to the Peoria Rivermen in exchange for the rights to forward Kyle Watson.
“A major priority for us this off-season was adding some experience at center as well as finding players who play with an edge and Kyle Watson fits both those needs,” Detulleo said. “He’s an experienced center with leadership qualities that can play in all situations, win important face-offs and bring a physical element to our lineup. We will work hard to sign Kyle for the upcoming season. Josh had a great rookie season with us and we wish him the best of luck next season.”
Watson (6-1, 200) played in 55 games for the Bloomington Thunder last year before being released at the end of the season and joining Peoria for the playoffs. He scored 13 goals, added 11 assists and had 164 penalty minutes for the Thunder. He spent two seasons with the Augusta RiverHawks where he scored 20 goals, added 27 assists and had 243 penalty minutes in 108 games.
The Stittsville, Ontario native spent four seasons at Adrian College where he scored 34 goals, recorded 30 assists and had 208 penalty minutes in 107 career games.
Harris (5-10, 175) played in 50 games for the Havoc last season and scored 20 goals and recorded 25 assists. The Torrance, California native scored one goal and added four assists in five playoff games.
