P.A.L. Junior Islanders led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when P.A.L. Junior Islanders' Joe Quinn's scored at 23:27 in the second period to put P.A.L. Junior Islanders up 5-2.

P.A.L. Junior Islanders' penalty kill excelled, as P.A.L. Junior Islanders gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.
