(TORONTO, ON) The National Basketball League of Canada announces that Deputy Commissioner, Ms. Susan Gordon has stepped down to become the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the CFL's Players Association, effective today. 

"First, on behalf of the League I would like to send our congratulations to Susan as she moves on to her newest endeavor, " said Andre Levingston, NBL Canada President & CEO.  "She's been an advocate for this League since its inception.  She believed in our vision and was instrumental with the launch of our League.  She will truly be missed."

Ms. Susan Gordon was appointed Deputy Commissioner on September 17, 2012.

"I would like to thank the NBL Canada Board of Directors for the opportunity to work alongside them and be a part of the League's history," said Ms. Susan Gordon.  "It has been an exciting ride.  I can't imagine working with a better group of people and I will always be the League's biggest fan."

The League will now begin its search of Ms. Gordon's replacement.
