BURLINGTON wins tough contest against CAMBRIDGE, 3-2

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, BURLINGTON escaped with a 4-2 victory over AURORA.
Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Rebekah Keene (PU) secured the win for BURLINGTON with a goal in the third period.
BURLINGTON's penalty kill excelled, as BURLINGTON gave up zero goals despite allowing eight power plays.
BURLINGTON was led by Keene (PU), who registered one goal. Keene (PU) scored 10:47 into the third period to make the score 3-2 BURLINGTON. Jamie Watson (C) assisted on the tally.
BURLINGTON stifled AURORA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. BURLINGTON found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 13 shots against AURORA's defense. BURLINGTON was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 24 penalty minutes.
BURLINGTON additionally got points from Watson (C), who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for BURLINGTON included Ashley Money (A) and Sydney Davison, who each put in one. More assists for BURLINGTON came via Aimee Raithby, who had two and Kiana Tobia and Rachel Armstrong (A), who contributed one each.
AURORA was helped by Mia Rogers, who finished with one goal. Rogers scored 3:35 into the third period to make the score 2-1 AURORA. Sabrina Manolescu (A) provided the assist. AURORA also got a goal from Madison Heeney as well. In addition, AURORA received assists from Braeden Hahnfeld, who had one.
Dagny Hudspeth recorded 20 saves for BURLINGTON. BURLINGTON registered one goal on four power play opportunities. AURORA's Jenna Alessandrini stopped nine shots out of the 13 that she faced. AURORA incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
