If I can say one positive thing about Saskachewan's play, I would say it would be impossible to do any worse than they played today, essentially; they can only improve from this one. Hits on hits on hits from Somerton, and errors on errors on errors from Saskachewan are the tale of game. 5 runs in the 1st, 4 in the 2nd, and 6 in the 3rd were enough to put the Stingers up by more than enough to win this one. 

 

    Burning through all of their pitchers in 3 and 1/3 innings, broadcaster Derick Lewis came down from the booth at Desert Sun Stadium, suited up, and threw during garbage time to end the game, which was called after only 5 innings of play due to time restrictions. 

 

    Nothing more to say about this one, other than it was a huge win for Somerton, and something to learn from for the Silver Sox. The only thing guaranteed is there is another game for each team tomorrow, and they can only learn from this one and move forward to the next one.
