Zack Coker is an infielder who joins the Muskrats following his redshirt freshman
year at the University of Alabama. In 2016, Zack appeared in four games, going
hitless in two at bats while driving in a run. He drew one walk and came around to
score once. He red-shirted in 2015. Zack is the son of Jason and Lynette Coker, both
of whom are Alabama alums. The Tuscaloosa, Alabama native attended Northridge
High School. There he was named 2014 Southeast Region Honorable Mention by
Perfect Game USA and was a 2013 Honorable Mention Preseason High School Underclassmen
All-American by Perfect Game. Perfect Game also ranked him as the
17th overall player and the top shortstop in the state of Alabama. He also competed
in Perfect Game’s 2012 Southeast Underclass Showcase. In the classroom Zack maintained
a 3.9 grade point average while at Northridge High School.
