2012-15: Pitched and played infield in his four seasons at Houston Baptist University...had his best pitching season in 2014, tossing 23.2 innings and posting a 1.90 ERA, while striking out 19 and walking nine...also had a solid 2013 season with 34.1 innings, while holding batter to a career-low .242 batting average...as a hitter led the team with a .371 batting average in his sophomore season (2013)...hit safely in last 13 games of the 2013 season...finished the season with four doubles, a triple, 24 RBIs, a .429 slugging, and a .456 on-base percentage.
